Chimneys

Your snugburner design allows for a fanned high level flue. We have found over the past 2 years that the integration of the Powerflue exhaust will provide a constant pressure giving you exactly the flue draw you require to maintain JUST enough "suck" to keep your cooker nice and hot, without being TOO hot or sucking too much heat out of the appliance.

The Powerflue is hand made locally to us and makes a further safety device on the cooker - should the fan unit switch off for any reason, so does the burner.

So you CAN mount your cooker on a chimney-less outside wall and the small stainless steel box (yes can be painted or we could supply it powder coated in your choice of colour)

Cost of the Powerflue unit is less than £450 - and saves planning considerations and possible mounting problems of a full height chimney  We are using this unit on both Agas and Rayburns and the installation is very simple. Usual way is 2 or 3ft of vertical black pipe off your flue box, then a "swept" 90o bend ,through the wall in stainless steel then that sockets into the Pwerflue. It is fired back to the Aga unit and only requires a 5 amp supply.

Otherwise the cooker WILL run on a chimney with a normal liner fitted, a clay pot liner or stainless steel .

please note that a reasonable draw is STILL required on your cooker( 1mm) . Too little draw results in the burner getting "cooked" and can result in a component failure - not covered by our guarantee!
